This song is taken from my most recent album ‘Turning Sleeping into Art', an album all about having a child and this song sticks firmly to that theme. It ultimately looks at the responsibility a parents feels to do what is right for a child, even if it means you’re not going to be liked by them.
It was always meant to be released as a single and has always been played from the album more than a lot of the other songs, so I presume it is one that people like. I forgot to release it at a more appropriate time, as is my way, but a recent heap of investment in new software for future projects saw me use this song as a test bed and I was please with the results.
That means it gets its release now, but in a slightly altered state showing a little bit of the development of my sound. I hope you enjoy the changes, or even notice them!
